This is a content migration, not a copy of your layout. Publisher's format keeps positioning in structures that no software outside Publisher reads reliably, so DesignLab recovers the part you cannot recreate — the words and the pictures — and leaves you to place them.
Why we say it that way
Plenty of converters promise a perfect copy and quietly drop half the document. You would find out at the printer. DesignLab reports exactly what it recovered and exactly what it did not, every time you import — the same report this page just showed you.
Your newsletters, price lists and member records are your business. This page reads the file with JavaScript running in your own browser — there is no request to any server, because there is no server. View source, or open your network tab and drop a file: nothing goes out.
DesignLab itself works the same way. Projects are plain files in a folder you choose, the AI tools run on your own machine, and it keeps working with no internet and no subscription.
